November brought a busy month for networking, including the annual Connected Hubs summit in Tullamore.

Bru Digital Hub manager Niamh and owner David travelled to the one day event to network with other associates in the hub sector. The day was jam packed with talks from both national and international speakers on the topics of employment, enterprise, climate action and community.

Both Minister for Rural and Community Development, Heather Humphreys TD, and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Simon Coveney TD,  addressed the summit.

Minister Coveney said “The contribution of hubs throughout the country is enormous. These hubs help drive economic activity, support communities and allow individuals to live and work in their local communities.”

While Minister Humphries was looking forward to the future of the hub sector stating “I very much anticipate a vibrant, sustainable sector that can support communities and government priorities, from regional balanced development to reduced carbon emissions. I expect too to see a network that provides excellent, professional work spaces for talented and creative people, employees, employers and entrepreneurs alike.”

We look forward to attending again next year!
